It is important you meet with your academic advisors on a regular basis as well as take advantage of professional development opportunities offered through the School of Management Undergraduate and Graduate Programs Office, the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center, the Career Resource Center, and student clubs and organizations.
While some students choose not to specialize, you may select one or more concentrations. If a concentration is selected, you will complete it with your graduate-level coursework.
Students can complete MGB 610 and 611, and MGO 640 as part of the MBA core rather than the corresponding undergraduate level courses (MGB 301 and MGO 403.) Students who apply and are admitted to the BS/MBA business administration program may need to take any undergraduate management core courses not completed by the end of the junior year in the summer after junior year before starting MBA courses in the fourth year. It may also be necessary for BS/MBA students to enroll in summer courses if behind on UB Curriculum.
Admission to the BS/MBA program is very competitive. Please contact the Graduate Programs Office in 203 Alfiero for information on the BS/MBA program, including admission standards.
