Students must have completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application. The prerequisite course (PSY 101) should be completed or in progress when applying for the minor. Students who meet these requirements are more likely to achieve success as they will have the requisite academic preparation and a more developed sense of career direction or interests to be able to make decisions about pursuing a Minor in Counseling.
