Completing the Exercise Science BS - Pre-Physical Therapy Concentration/Physical Therapy DPT Program

Academic Requirements

Students must maintain an overall undergraduate GPA of ≥ 3.000 to be eligible for admission to the graduate DPT program. Students failing to maintain this GPA requirement may remain in the Exercise Science BS – Pre-PT concentration program, but will not be eligible for admission to the graduate DPT program.

All undergraduate majors include at least 24-credit hours at the upper division (at least 300-level).

Undergraduate students must apply to the DPT graduate program in the Fall of Year 3. Refer to the DPT Admissions website for details.

Transfer Credit Policy

All prerequisite coursework taken at other institutions must articulate to UB as equivalent courses. Courses that do not articulate to UB will not satisfy requirements for the major. Refer to TAURUS for information on courses at other schools that are equivalent to UB courses.
