The School of Nursing offers fully equipped health assessment, nursing skills, and simulation labs. Individualized teaching, coaching, and practice opportunities are provided by faculty and teaching assistants from our graduate student body.
The School of Nursing simulation labs feature state-of-the-art patient simulators in a virtual operating room that is connected to patient monitors, and one utilized to simulate ambulatory and acute nursing situations.
The Center for Nursing Research (CNR) houses a research library, and is a repository for information on internal and external sources of funding, including guidelines and application forms.
A range of educational technology resources include a wide variety of health-care databases, computer assisted instruction, and electronic resources.
For our RN-BS students, the University and the School of Nursing offer a number of services to support the remote learner, including online advising appointments, access to the online library resources, appointments with the virtual librarian, and course materials via UBLearns. IT support is available during regular business hours. All online students have access to the University’s on-campus resources as well.
