Public Health Minor - Program Requirements

The minor in public health follows general UB policies with respect to transfer credit. Students can review the TAURUS listing of articulated transfer courses to see if a course taken at another institution will count towards a public health minor requirement. If a student has taken a course that is not listed in TAURUS they can contact the Office of Academic and Student Affairs to discuss.

There are no prerequisite courses for the public health minor.

Note: for both the lower division and upper division elective courses, a student may petition the program director for permission to count a course not on the approved electives list.

Minors and certificates must be completed in conjunction with a major and all university degree requirements must be met.

Students should consult with an academic advisor to determine how any transfer or exam credit might be utilized in meeting general education, prerequisite, or minor requirements.
