Early Assurance Programs

School of Dental Medicine

Each year, well-qualified undergraduates may receive formal acceptance to UB’s School of Dental Medicine after the second semester of their sophomore year. To qualify, students must possess a minimum overall and science GPA of 3.5 and complete specific science courses. Upon receipt of the baccalaureate degree, the dental phase begins. This is not an accelerated program. The prehealth advisors can provide further information.

School of Pharmacy

Early Assurance to the PharmD program is restricted to students who enter the University at Buffalo directly from high school as freshmen intended-pharmacy majors and earn a minimum 3.30 GPA in science and math prerequisite courses. For additional requirements, visit the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences website.
