Transfer Credit Policy

Freshmen and transfer students often have previously earned credits from exams or college level courses. Credits can be applied to the Medical Technology Program courses as described in the Undergraduate Catalog Policy on Alternative Methods for Earning University Credits.

The program in medical technology has transfer agreements with SUNY Morrisville, Niagara County Community College, and the medical laboratory technician/clinical laboratory technician AAS program at Erie Community College North, and prerequisite course equivalencies have been established. Students with an AAS in medical laboratory technician degree are encouraged to have their transcripts evaluated by the program advisor. Students from other transfer institutions should consult the TAURUS website and contact the undergraduate program advisor for course equivalencies.

Courses from other institutions may not be used to satisfy any upper-division program course requirements.

Residency Requirement
