Experiential Learning

The SSC/Health and Human Services – Early Childhood Studies curriculum allows students to complete one or two semesters of internship in completion of major requirements. This experience provides students the opportunity to put into practice the things they have learned in the classroom, to develop a professional demeanor and to learn firsthand about the responsibilities and ethics that are required of professionals in the field.

Study Abroad

The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Degree Programs encourage students in any of our six majors to take part in a study abroad experience. Advisors in the program will work with students to review study abroad courses for possible use in the major.
