Completing the Geography Minor Program

Academic Requirements

To be admitted to the Minor in Geography program, students must have an overall (UB) QPA of 2.0. To receive a minor in Geography, students must have a QPA of 2.0 in all Geography courses and a QPA of 2.0 overall (UB).

Transfer Credit Policy

Questions of transfer credit policy can be directed to the director of undergraduate studies.

Prerequisite Courses

Prerequisite courses are not required for pursing a Minor in Geography.

The Department of Geography offers five (5) Minors in Geography including General Geography and concentrations in Earth Systems Science, International Business and World Trade, Geographic Information Systems and Cartography, and Urban and Regional Analysis.
