Completing the Music Minor Program

Academic Requirements

A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for acceptance. Applicants for the performance minor must pass an audition. All minors must be accepted for MUS 105 as determined by the theory diagnostic examination.

Residency Requirement

When transferring credits, up to one-half of the departmental requirements in the areas of music history, theory (determined by examination), performance (determined by audition), and ensemble can be accepted.
