To graduate with a degree in Business Administration, students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in upper division (300/400 level) classes, as well as meet the University Degree Requirements. Students entering in the spring semester should be aware of possible course sequence obstacles that may necessitate summer school or waiting additional semesters to take specific courses.
The AACSB standards mandate that a student should have a liberal arts component that makes up at least 50 percent of the student's program, referred to as the AACSB 50% rule. Up to 9 credit hours of economics and up to 6 credit hours of statistics may be counted toward AACSB's 50% rule. In addition to the allowable 9 credits of economics and 6 credits of statistics (included in the business administration curriculum), all students must complete at least 45 credit hours of non-business, non-economics, and non-statistics credit hours.
