Students who wish to transfer to the University at Buffalo and pursue a minor in Community Organizing and Development must first be accepted by the university's admissions office before applying to the program. Students are referred by College of Arts and Sciences Student Advisement and Services to this program so that all transfer credits can be evaluated and applied. Transfer students are advised to bring course descriptions and syllabi to the Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies.
Transfer students who wish to minor in Community Organizing and Development must at a minimum take the two required courses SW 220 Introduction to Community Organizing and SW 230 Theories and Politics of Community Organizing and Development. All courses counted toward the minor must be completed with a minimum grade of C.
