Completing the Neuroscience BS Program

Academic Requirements

Students are required to maintain a 2.5 major GPA as well as a 2.5 University GPA to remain in the program. Students who fall below 2.5 will be given one academic semester and one summer session to raise their major GPA at or above 2.5.

Transfer Credit Policy

Students interested in applying transfer work to degree requirements should refer to the TAURUS website for articulation.

Courses may be transferred from other educational institutions if they are equivalent. Students should consult with the Jacobs School academic advisor to determine equivalency.

Prerequisite Courses

There are no prerequisite courses required for admission into the Neuroscience BS program.

Required Courses

Elective Courses

Students are required to take a minimum of 20 credits of elective work from the approved elective list. Students must select a minimum of 3 credits from Biological Sciences (BIO) and a minimum of 3 credits from Psychology (PSY). The remaining electives credits can be fulfilled with any course listed below.
