The Learning Environment
German classes are typically small in size, allowing for greater interaction, face-time and use of the target language between the instructor and students. Courses cover a variety of topics, and Independent Studies may be arranged to fill a student's needs.
About Our Facilities
The German program is housed in the Department of Linguistics in Baldy Hall and holds classes in centrally scheduled space throughout the campus. Although most instruction is in traditional format, it is often enhanced with a wide variety of media resources, including videos and internet.
About Our Faculty
The German program has two full-time faculty, one with a Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching and a sufficient number of instructors and graduate teaching assistants.
