- The Learning Environment
The Learning Environment
The courses for the nutrition minor are delivered in a variety of settings. The class sizes range from 40 – 220 students. The majority of the courses are conducted as lectures in a traditional classroom setting. The foundation courses (NTR 108/NTR 109) can be taken remotely. There is also a laboratory course (NTR 110) that provides hands-on learning opportunities. In some of the upper levels courses, students engage in groups projects and give presentations.
About Our Facilities
The majority of these courses are delivered in recently renovated classroom spaces primarily on UB's South Campus. The laboratory course has equipment to learn how to perform body composition analysis.
