Elective Advanced Professional Practice Experiences (APPEs) are meant to allow students to explore areas of potential practice interest. Elective 1 must have direct patient care. Direct patient care is defined as an environment that includes interactions with patient (in person or telepathic), in the presence of a licensed pharmacist.
