The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences announces a course offering through the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Introduction to Bioethics (PMY 605). This course will employ didactic lectures coupled with application to current and perennial questions in medical ethics. The reading material will be derived from source materials available in medical and philosophy journals. The course is available to students from medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, social work and philosophy. Grading will be by letter grade (A, B, etc.) based on participation and evaluation of writing assignments. Registration is (soft) capped at 25 students.
